Since February 2007 IMS Connector Systems offers a new RF connector series for the use in medical equipment. This new RF coaxial connector series is called "MedEasyLock®".

Instead of a threaded mechanism, the "MedEasyLock®" connectors have a new and innovative quick-lock coupling mechanism. Because of this new coupling technology an extremely reliable connection as well as an easy and fast mounting can be achieved. The "MedEasyLock®" connectors have an extended connector housing which provides a strain relief and prevents bending and damages to the cable. In this way the cable connectors offer outstanding electrical performance during the whole product life time.

The new medical RF connectors are suitable for applications up to 5800 MHz. The service load at 2,4 GHz is 500 Watt. Typical applications for "MedEasyLock®" connectors are therapeutic devices like magnetic field therapies as well as RF controlled medical measurement and monitoring systems.

Furthermore IMS CS offers other standard RF connectors as well as customized RF components for medical equipment e. g. non magnetic SMP connectors, 7/16 connectors and the quick lock series SnapN and QLS.
